Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please review what will be deleted before proceeding:
- Your account profile and personal information
- Service booking history and preferences
- Payment history and saved payment methods
- Messages and communication history
- Reviews and ratings given
- Saved addresses and locations
📋 Account Deletion Process
Step 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
Delete your account directly from the HomeLinkGH app:
- Open the HomeLinkGH app
- Go to Profile → Settings
- Scroll down to "Account Management"
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
- Your account will be deleted within 24 hours
Step 2: Email Request (Alternative)
If you cannot access the app, email us directly:
- Send to: privacy@homelinkgh.com
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include: Your registered email address or phone number
- Verification: We may ask for additional verification for security

Send us an email to delete your account and all associated data:

- Immediate: Account deactivated and login disabled
- Within 24 hours: Personal data removed from active systems
- Within 30 days: Complete removal from backup systems
- Legal retention: Some data may be retained as required by law (financial records, etc.)
🔄 What Happens After Deletion
Data Removed:
- Profile information (name, email, phone)
- Service preferences and history
- Location data and saved addresses
- Payment methods (cards removed from secure storage)
- App usage data and analytics
- Marketing preferences and communications
Data That May Be Retained:
- Transaction records (as required by financial regulations)
- Legal compliance data (fraud prevention, disputes)
- Anonymized analytics data (no personal identifiers)
- Public reviews (anonymized after 90 days)
